The identity design reflects the opulence and is timeless, whilst having echos of Art Deco, with which Napier is known world-wide for. The distinctive purple velvet curtains of the cinema were re-produced as part of the brand to add grandeur and a unique point of difference.

Globe Theatrette is a boutique independent cinema situated in Ahuriri, Napier. They required an identity that captured the opulence and uniqueness of the cinema and that harkened back to the days of the classic movie experience.
As part of the design process, I was required to design a 3 dimensional Art Deco inspired light signage plinth that would be in-keeping with the overall identity and aesthetic.
